Breast Feeding Accessory

Although no equipment is essential, there are some items which will make life easier, such as feeding bras. There are other things that you may require if you decide to express milk so that you can bottle-feed occasionally. You will need:

• At least two well-fitting cotton nursing bras which allow access to a large area of the breast when your baby is feeding.
• Breast pads for use inside the bra to absorb any leaks of milk. 8 Nipple shields to protect your sore nipples.
• Breast shells to fit over the nipple and collect excess milk.
• Breast pump, bottles, and teats.
• Sterilizing equipment if you intend to express breast milk.
